World War I Memorial in Chillicothe, Ohio

The Ross County World War I Memorial stands at the entrance to Yoctangee Park (Paint and Water Street) in Chillicothe, Ohio. A plaque at the base of the sculpture lists the 62 fallen heroes from Ross County, and reads: "In honor of the boys from Ross County who gave their lives in the service of their country 1917 - 1919." The United States entered the war on April 6, 1917.
