Historic Casselman Bridge on National Road #3550
Constructed in 1813 along the National Road in Grantsville, Md., to ease the westward movement of frontier settlers heading from Cumberland, Md., to the Ohio River in Wheeling, W.Va., the Casselman Bridge "was the largest stone arch in America at the time.
