Monongahela River November landscape #8385

When I walk along the Monongahela River on the Mon River Rail-Trail, and look at the tangled landscapes as I did on November 10, 2023, from Star City in Morgantown, W.Va., I am sometimes reminded of the cityscapes of Lee Friedlander, who had "an ability to organize a vast amount of visual information in dynamic compositions ... focusing on countless subjects ranging from cars and trees to monuments and nudes." Simple is beautiful, but nature and man are not that way most of the time.
