A hidden gem in North Central West Virginia, Cheat Lake Park consists of the manmade Cheat Lake Reservoir, which ends at the Lake Lynn Hydroelectric Facility on the border with Pennsylvania. Boat rentals at Sunset Beach Marina offer the chance to explore this area, and also southeast through the Cheat River Canyon.
