Middle Fork River at Audra State Park / #7874

The Middle Fork River, a 35.4-mile tributary of the Tygart Valley River, runs through Audra State Park near Buckhannon, West Virginia. The moderately difficult and looping 2.7-mile Alum Creek and Cave Trail runs along the river, and a boardwalk near the beginning of the lower part of the trail has a bench underneath the Alum Cave overhang that is the perfect place to seek solitude (pictured).
