As a West Virginia photographer, I appreciate that abstract nature photography can be found in the color, designs, dramatic light, patterns, reflections, and textures that I witness when communing and visualizing in the great outdoors.

I find myself analyzing rock formations, and how the textures of trees relate to them. Looking at light and reflections in bodies of water is akin to Monet visualizing and painting water lilies. Raindrops and ripples offer magic and mood.

The natural world around us offers a truly beautiful spectrum.
